Auf gehts ins Feuerland!

Punkt 8 Uhr morgens wurden der Bus beladen und kurz darauf ging es dann los. Es sollte
wohl die ereignisreichste Busfahrt meines Lebens werden.
Auf dem Weg zur Faehre, die uns ueber die Magellanstrasse bringen sollte, platzte tatsaechlich einer der Hinterreifen. "Gut, kann ja mal passieren"
Das Rad wurde gin kuerzester Zeit gegen den Ersatztreifen ausgetauscht. Wieder allen in Ordnung - bis dahin. :D Haben sogar noch rechtzeitig die Faehre bekommen.
Auf der chilenischen Seite angekommen - einstempeln (vorher natuerlich auf der argentinischen Seite ausstempeln), beides dauerte ungewoehnlich lange.
Wir durchquerten die chilenische Seite des Feuerlands, trotz der schlechten Strassenbedingungen recht zuegig ohne Probleme.

Bevor wir die argentinische Seite erreichten natuerlich wieder dasselbe Prozedere - ausstempeln , einstempeln.
Aber das schlimmste war noch nicht vorbei. Mitten im Nirgendwo, am wirklichen Arsch der Welt, im Umkreis von 100km kein einziges Haus, nichts ausser totale Praerie, platzte und unglaublicherweise ein weiterer Reifen.
"Shiiiit! Was nu?" Der Ersatzreifen war schliesslich schon im Einsatz. Es musste ein Notfallbus gerufen werden der uns abholen sollte. Nach ca. 2 h erreichte dieser fast, aber leider nur fast den Zielort, da 200m davor das passierte, was eigentlich gar nicht passieren konnte und schon gar nicht passieren durfte - ein Reifen platzte.
"Yippi! 2 abschleppreife Busse im Nirgendwo vom Arsch der Welt!" Mit dem letzten Ersatzreifen wurde unser defekter Reifen ausgetauscht und die Fahrt ging gluecklicherweise ohne Probleme bis nach Ushuaia weiter.

Moin!Habe mal wieder etwas Zeit und Lust gefunden zu berichten, was hier in Argentien grad abgeht.

Nach 10 Wochen Cordoba (4 W Sprachkurs & 6 W Praktikum im Hostel) wurde es endlich Zeit auf Reisen zu gehen. Bin jetzt seit einer Woche unterwegs und bin mitlerweile nach etwa fast 3000 km in Rio Gallegos in Suedpatagonien angekommen. Morgen geht die Reise weiter bis zum Ende der Welt, Ushuaia, der suedlichsten Stadt der Erde. Bis dorthin fehlen etwa noch 600 km.
Am Fr. d 25. Januar stieg ich in Cordoba in den Bus nach Pinamar um mich mit Philipp zu treffen, der zu der Zeit Urlaub mit seiner Gastfamilie u. a. auch seiner Gasttante Christina aus Rio Gallegos machte. Da wir ueber seine Christina eine Mitfahrgelegenheit hatten ganz in den Sueden zu fahren und somit einige 100 euros zu sparen, machten wir dies natuerlich auch. Die Reise mit ihrem Landrover lief allerdings nicht wie geplant, da ein Unfall mit einem riesen Hund das Auto total lahm legte!! Wir habens bis Trelew geschafft, wo wir aufgrund der Reperaturdauer 2 Tage festsassen. Mittwoch ging es endlich weiter. Auf den restlichen 1300 km nach Rio Gallegos machten wir noch einen Zwischenstopp in Comodoro fuer eine Nacht bevor wir am Freitag endlich in Rio Gallegos ankamen.

Der grobe Plan fuer die naechsten 6 wochen:Sonntag, 03.Februar fahren wir nach Ushuaia.Nachdem wir das Feuerland im Sueden abgeklappert haben, werden wir uns auf den Weg Richtung Anden nach El Calafate und El Chalten zum Eisgletscher Perito Moreno, 3. groesste Eismasse nach der Antarktis und Groenland, machen. Nach diesem Abenteuer statten wir den Pinguinen und Walen auf der Isla Peninsula Valdes (in 3 Wochen) im Osten einen Besuch, ab.Nach dem Besuch der Pinguine fahren wir vom Osten aus wieder in den Westen ein. Dort schauen wir uns Bariloche und danach die Provinzen Mendoza, Salta, Jujuy an (Ende Maerz).

Ich bin ziemlich froh endlich auf Abenteuerjagd gehen zu koennen. Cordoba war als Start und Verbleib (auch zwecks Erlernen der Sprache) fuer die ersten 10 Wochen sehr gut.Ich habe Freunde gemacht, gefeiert, gearbeitet :), kenne die Stadt, viel mehr Neues gibt es nicht mehr. Daher freut es mich umso mehr, dass es endlich los geht.

Phillie the Pussy

Last Wednesday we went out for a drink in downtown. When I left him to get my taxi back home he got robbed. It was really obvious that Philipp is a tourist, because he was wearing short trousers, flipflops, a jumper around his pelvis and on top of that - sunglasses at 3 am in the moring!!!!!! The robber took his wallet and even his jumper.

At least he was able to hide his mobilephone. But no worries, he didn't have much money on hin.
Well done, mate!!!

Stupid things I have done!

Besides lots of misunderstandigs which are happeing almost everyday because of the language for example buying and paying for 2 icecreams even if I just wanted one or withdrawing 10 Pesos (= 2 Euro) and paying more for the transactionfee than the withdrawed amount of money. Shit happens!
But the most stupid thing I have done was loosing my Credit Visa Card.
Now I haven't got anymore money. Noooooooooooo!!!!
Shit happened again!!!

In my first week I went to a Couchsurfing-meeting to get in touch with some locals, because I did't want to spend my whole time with Germans again.You can't hide from them, they are everywhere!!! In the spanish course which I am doing at the moment are 5 girls, which is not the worse case. Believe me!!They are all very nice and of course sexy too (hope you girls have already read this part!! :D)Anywa, at that CS-meeting which in mentioned above I met a lot of really really fantastic people from Cordoba and all over the world.And the best is that I am still in touch with them. We are having a lot of fun both during the week and at the weekends.

Excursions

Horse riding
On the 10th November I went with the 5 girls from my spanish course to Salsipuedes in the mountains to do horse riding. It was beautiful to ride through mother nature and cross rivers on the horse. Even if I was the slowest one I accomplished to gallop and did not fall down.

Roadtrip!!!!!!
About friends I have freshly made I got to know Laurent Juillard, a fellow from Paris who is travelling thruogh Southamerica.He hired a car and luckily there was one spare seat so that I got the possibility to join his journey.Laurent, 2 other french girls (Fanny & Angeline), another girl from Germany and of course me did a awesome roadtrip throug the province of Cordoba.We didn't really plan a route, just had an aim and on the way to the destination we just chose a very nice spot to stay over night.
The first night at about 2am we stopped at a lake somewhere at "Boca del Rio" and did a bonfire like everyday. I slept in the back of the car.On the other 2 nights I just took my sleepingbag and slept outside on the floor. That was much nicer, even if I got a bit wet.On Saturday we were in "La Cumbrecita" and drove though the german village "Villa G. Belgrano" and at night we had a decent asado on open fire.
On Sunday we continued our trip. It was our last night, so we decided to finish our journey with a big "bang"! We bought some wine, a bottle of Tequila and had still some vodca left from the day before.The Tequila was one of the cheap fake ones and really disgusting. We couldn't manage to finish it. Then I had the great idea to do a fire spitting contest...You can see the result here :)

My Trip To Southamerica...

As you all probably know I am travelling with Phillie Le Provost through Southamerica.
We will stay in Argentina/Córdoba for about 3 month and then travel around.

After a 10 h flight we finally arrived in Atlanta.
About Couchsurfing.com I organised to meet up with Trevor, a great guy who lives nearby Atlanta.
He drove 1 h to Atlanta to pick Phillie and me up and another h back to his hometown Cartersville.
We had a awesome time together. He showed us around, we went to a concert (Josh Ritter), did some american culture (american breakfast) and of course we were partying a lot (Played beer-pong!!!!).


I represented the Germans very well and taught him "Schulz". He was fascinated from that game and instantly started to love it. So much that he will teach it to all his friends and "make me to a legend". At the same time he was very impressed by the way I could burp too.
The most funniest thing was that Philipp refused to play that game,
"I am not going to play this stupid game", so he always lost and got tipped his forehead.

W I C K E D MATE

On the 02. November we left Atlanta and flew to Santiago de Chile.
